Panathlon International

9. April 2026 – Panathlon International bereitet sich auf ein Ereignis von großer Bedeutung vor: den 23. Internationalen Kongress, der vom 4. bis 7. Juni 2026 in Gent (Belgien) stattfindet und den 75. Jahrestag des Engagements des Vereins für die Förderung von Ethik und Werten im Sport markiert.

Das kürzlich abgehaltene Webinar bot einen umfassenden Ausblick auf den Kongress und stellte dessen Vision und Struktur in den Vordergrund. Die Veranstaltung brachte Vertreter aus aller Welt zusammen und unterstrich damit die internationale Dimension von Panathlon sowie dessen Rolle innerhalb der Olympischen Bewegung und im europäischen institutionellen Kontext.

Das Programm war darauf ausgelegt, Tradition und Innovation zu verbinden.

Der erste Tag war der Sportdiplomatie, dem Engagement der Jugend und der Governance gewidmet und untersuchte die Rolle des Sports als Instrument für Dialog, Inklusion und Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Kulturen.

Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf junge Menschen gelegt, nicht nur als Teilnehmer, sondern auch als zukünftige Botschafter sportlicher Werte.

Am zweiten Tag wurden zentrale Themen wie Integrität und gute Governance im Sport behandelt, mit Beiträgen von internationalen Institutionen, der Wissenschaft und Branchenexperten. Dies spiegelt das wachsende Engagement von Panathlon International in der globalen Debatte über Transparenz, Ethik und Rechenschaftspflicht im Sport wider.

Parallel zum Kongress wurde auch die Best-Practices-Ausstellung eröffnet, bei der Vereine und Distrikte eingeladen waren, ihre Projekte und deren Auswirkungen auf die lokale Gemeinschaft vorzustellen. Die gesammelten Beiträge werden in einem digitalen Handbuch zusammengefasst, wodurch ein gemeinsamer Fundus an Erfahrungen und bewährten Verfahren entsteht.

Der Kongress in Gent ist nicht nur eine Feier der 75-jährigen Geschichte, sondern vor allem eine strategische Gelegenheit, in die Zukunft zu blicken, die internationale Zusammenarbeit zu stärken und die Mission von Panathlon International zu bekräftigen: Sport als Instrument für Bildung, Ethik und soziale Entwicklung zu fördern.

 Monday, April 13, a coordination meeting took place between the Project Coordinator, Panathlon International, and the University of Montenegro, which, Work Package (WP) Leader, is organising the next Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), to be held in Podgorica in June. The meeting focused on logistical arrangements, organisational planning, and key coordination aspects among partners.

The official agenda will be shared shortly with all consortium partners.

The YOULEAD Project is a 30-month initiative funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme. Coordinated by Panathlon International, the project aims to promote more inclusive, democratic, and gender-balanced leadership structures in sport organisations by empowering young people and strengthening their participation in governance and decision-making processes at local, national, and European levels.

Mit der tatkräftigen Unterstützung zahlreicher Panathlon-Clubmitglieder organisierte der Verein Winklusiv Winterthur einen tollen Sportevent für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen.

Alle Beteiligten hatten bei diesem Wettkampf mit zahlreichen amüsanten sportlichen Disziplinen viel Spass! Viele anerkennde Worte für die Organisatoren gab es auch vom Winterthurer Stadtpräsidenten Michael Künzle und den Stadträten Stefan Fritschi und Nicolas Galladé, die sich unter den gut gelaunten Zuschauer:innen befanden.

Fair Play News

 Fue organizado por la  IWWF 2026 y celebrado del 1 al 5 de abril en el Lago Ahumada Esqui Náutico de Villa Dolores, Córdoba, Argentina. Fue la primera oportunidad en que se realizó un evento de esta importancia en Argentina en este deporte. 

Cien de los mejores jóvenes atletas del mundo, provenientes de 17 naciones, compitieron por los títulos en eslalon, figuras, salto y clasificación general. 

El Distrito Argentina del Panathlon International, estuvo presente con la participación de los panathletas Jorge Renosto, Ruben Fantini y Gabriela Noguera, representantes de los clubes Buenos Aires y PBA Zona Norte.

Durante el campeonato se exhibió la bandera del Panathlon International, explicándose los fundamentos del movimiento panathlético y los valores del deporte, promoviendo el juego limpio. 

Fue distinguido el equipo argentino que participó con la medalla del Juego Limpio por su compañerismo y amistad con todos los intervinientes extranjeros, a quienes demostraron su afecto y felicitación en todo momento, entregando las medallas a Delfina Renosto, medallista de bronce en figuras, Sara Gramática bronce en Slalom con  apenas 14 años, Bautista Ahumada plata en slalom y bronce en figuras, Isabel Besso, Oliva Ahumada, y Tomás Toyos la presidente de la Federación Argentina de Sky Náutico Sra. Sol Álvarez. Todos estos jóvenes  conformaron el equipo argentino logrando en la suma de puntos un extraordinario 7ª lugar en la clasificación mundial.

A su vez el presidente honorario de la Federación Argentina de Sky Náutico Dr. Jorge Daniel Renosto, con el acuerdo de los entrenadores nacionales y autoridades nacionales y extranjeras entregó el premio Fair Play al atleta paralímpico Mauricio Capart, por su dedicación y hermosa exhibición realizada en el evento sobre el deporte para personas con discapacidad, mostrando profesionalidad, fuerza de voluntad y enseñanza de vida.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced a new Policy on the Protection of the Female (Women’s) Category in Olympic Sport and Guiding Considerations for International Federations and Sports Governing Bodies.

Following today’s approval of the policy by the IOC Executive Board, it will apply for the LA28 Olympic Games onwards, and is not retroactive.

Yesterday evening, 30 March at 8.00 pm CET, an information session dedicated to the Poster Showcase project took place, attended by no fewer than 23 participants.

The event was characterised by a positive atmosphere and the genuine interest shown by the clubs present, who asked targeted and constructive questions. In particular, attention focused on the procedures for submitting projects – confirming that projects from previous years are also eligible, provided they have already been completed – and on how to prepare the presentation materials.

The valuable work of the working group, coordinated by CRE President Antonio Bramante, in support of the initiative was also highlighted.

It was clarified that the poster will be produced directly by the Secretariat, with the invaluable support of Club Vlaanderen, thus relieving participants of this organisational burden.

A well-attended and energetic meeting, which once again confirms the desire to collaborate and share valuable experiences within our network. Next meeting in two weeks’ time: keep following us for all the updates!

A série de webinars promovida pela Comissão de Cultura, Pesquisa e Educação (CCRE) do Panathlon International continua a despertar grande interesse.

O próximo evento, dedicado ao XXIII Congresso Internacional do Panathlon International, será realizado na quinta-feira, 9 de abril, às 14h30 (horário de Brasília)

Nice Côte d’Azur, 28 février 2026 - Le président du District France, Marc Rozenblat,  a présenté le rapport d’activité 2025 du District, dressant un bilan nuancé entre difficultés et perspectives de développement, en présence de représentants éminents du mouvement international, dont Giorgio Chinellato, président de Panathlon International, Pierre Zappelli, ancien président, et Christian Garrabos, , conseiller international et conseiller du PIDFRA, connecté par vidéoconférence.  

L’année a été marquée par certaines difficultés, notamment sur le plan financier, liées à l’organisation du congrès de l’UNESCO 2024. Malgré cela, le Comité de direction a assuré la continuité opérationnelle, en soutenant les clubs et en poursuivant le processus de reconnaissance institutionnelle du mouvement en France.

Sur le terrain, on constate quelques fermetures de clubs, mais aussi des signes de dynamisme, avec des initiatives visant à créer de nouvelles associations et à consolider celles qui existent déjà. L’engagement sur les questions sociales se poursuit également, notamment en matière de handicap, ainsi que la participation à des projets et initiatives d’envergure internationale.

Parmi les priorités mises en avant figure également la nécessité d'une révision des structures statutaires et organisationnelles, considérée comme stratégique pour renforcer l'efficacité et la pérennité du Panathlon dans le contexte français.

Dans l'ensemble, une perspective de confiance se dessine, soutenue par l'engagement des dirigeants et le dynamisme des clubs actifs.
